The Livingston Group
In association with The Livingston Group, represent the
Republic of Turkey in support of that nationís government relations
goals to bridge the gap in information regarding Turkey,engage in
proactive lobbying, provide member access, and specific issue advocacy.
Turkish-U.S. Business Council/DEIK
Represent association comprised of 100 Turkish companies
to improve bilateral trade and industrial cooperation
between Turkey and the United States. Manage the organization
and implementation of an annual conference which brings
together 1,200 Turkish and U.S. business persons and
government officials. Establish relationships with
US industry-based associations. Plan and implement
U.S. visits for Turkish delegations for speaking arrangements,
roundtable discussions, and meetings with high level
U.S. government and private sector representatives.
U.S. Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce
Organize monthly speaking arrangements with members
of the Administration, Congress, think tanks, and
others. Identify and recruit new US corporate members.
Plan and implement annual conference.
The Appalachian Turkish Trade Project
Develop special program to encourage trade and investment
between the US Appalachian region and the Republic
of Turkey. The project is cosponsored by Senator Robert
Byrd, the Department of Commerce, the Appalachian
Regional Commission, The Turkish - U.S. Business Council/DEIK
and others. Two regional conferences have been held
to date -- one in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and
the second in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Attended by
high-level public and private sector representatives.
